CERF 2013 breaks the mold by introducing key plenary sessions that lay the foundation for topical invited sessions. These four "internal symposia" on topics that challenge both scientists and resource managers alike, have been organized by leading experts in the field.
CERF 2013 "Symposia within a Conference":
- Managing Nutrients in a Changing World
- Responding to Sea Level Rise
- Acidification Impacts on Estuaries
- Anthropogenic Facilitation of Species Invasions
This meeting architecture was designed to promote a deeper exchange on plenary topics by attracting leading experts and those charged with identifying policy options on these issues. While CERF retains its tradition of excellence on diverse issues, the addition of CERF 2013's plenary-led themes will gather those with interests in these cross-cutting issues.
