Overview
The 11th International Conference on Geoinformation Technologies for Natural Disaster Management (GiT4NDM) is going to be held at Shaoxing University and Keqiao International Park, Shaoxing, China from 10-11 December 2026. It is co-sponsored and knowledge partnered by the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS), IEEE GRSS, Canadian Institute of Geomatics (CIG), GeoIME Inc., Canada and other local and international knowledge partners. GiT4NDM 2026 aims to bring together academics, researchers, scientists, industrialists, politicians and practitioners. The conference will provide a platform to discuss recent technological advancements and innovations in geospatial information and communication technologies as well as their innovative applications in environmental changes. The theme for GiT4NDM 2026 is “Deep Dive in GeoAI for Sustainable Future and PostSDG Transformation”. This two-day event consists of workshop, keynotes, parallel technical sessions, panel sessions, social programs, and an industrial/educational visits.
Following an initial peer-review and screening process, a selection of high-quality papers presented at the conference will be invited for post-conference journal submission. Invited manuscripts will be considered for publication in reputable international journals, including International Journal of Applied Earth Observation and Geoinformation, Remote Sensing, Geomatica, and Geoscience Frontiers, subject to final confirmation and official approval of the participating journals.
Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended and substantially enhanced version of their work directly to the designated Special Issue of the confirmed journal following the conference. All submissions will undergo the journal’s standard peer-review process and must satisfy the publication requirements and editorial standards of the respective journal.
