High-Level UN Conference to Support the Implementation of SDG14

The Ocean Conference will be held in New York coinciding with World Ocean Day!
This high-level United Nations Conference aims to support the implementation of UN Sustainable Development Goal 14, pertains to conserving and sustainably using the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development. The first target under SDG14 is “By 2025, prevent and significantly reduce marine pollution of all kinds, in particular from land-based activities, including marine debris and nutrient pollution”
First partnership dialogues include : " Addressing marine pollution ". These dialogues are open to all participant accredited to the Conference.
The Ocean Conference shall adopt:
- "Call for Action"
- a report containing the co-chair's summaries of the partnership dialogues
- a list of voluntary commitments for the implementation of Goal 14
