Welcome to India Water Week - 2016
Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of India organises an annual policy and technology showcase event ‘India Water Week’.
On behalf of the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, National Water Development Agency and Central Water Commission invite you to be a part of India Water Week (IWW) 2016 to be organised from April 4 to April 8, 2016 on the theme ‘Water for all: Striving together’ .
Conceptualized and organised for the first time in 2012, the India Water Week is an annual forum where the government discusses key strategies with eminent stakeholders for conservation, preservation and optimum use of available water.
This is the fourth event of its kind with the theme ‘Water for all: Striving together’ focusing on efficient use of water across all sectors.
The IWW 2016 will create awareness through a multi-disciplinary conference and a concurrently running exhibition enriching the theme. It will also showcase technologies as well as solutions available for the areas under deliberation.
The event is targeted at international and national audience comprising of policy planners and technologists involved with water resources management in all the key sectors of economy like Agriculture and Irrigation, Energy Industry and Drinking Water Supply.
