International Mine Water Association Annual Conference

IMWA 2013, the annual conference of the International Mine Water Association will take place at the Colorado School of Mines Green Center on August 6-9, 2013.
The Conference presents and shares research and practice in reliable mine water technology, including mine water engineering and science, mine water management, and mine water environmental protection. The theme of this year's conference is "Reliable Mine Water Technology", which will showcase the state-of-the-art in mine water technology in seven topic areas: Regulation and Permitting, Hydrology, Geochemistry, Treatment, Operations, Closure, and Mined Hydrocarbon Produced Water. IMWA 2013 is directed toward people active in mine water research, permitting, mine operations, mine waste management, and mine closure, including those in the mining industry, government, academic, consulting, and stakeholder communities.
