The national summit on Sustainable Water & Sanitation will bring together various governments departments and stakeholders on one platform, since access to water and sanitation is a national need and can not be separated. Therefore the engagement to find solutions to the problems has to come from private and public organisations.
The summit on Sustainable Water & Sanitation focus is to create awareness about the existing water and sanitation issues in India, the governments’ future plan for swacha bharat abhiyan, national reforms on water and sanitation. Besides government undertaking this summit will also showcase sustainable solutions for the water and sanitation sector through Public-Private Partnership (PPPs) models, by inviting the private sector to participate and introduce regulatory reforms.
