Plastic at sea : How to prevent plastic to end-up in our oceans ?

On the occasion of the World Oceans Day (June 8th) , the Oceanographic Institute, Foundation Albert 1st, Prince of Monaco organized a public conference on plastic pollution at the Ocean House in Paris : "Plastic at sea : How to prevent plastic to end-up in our oceans ?"
There will be testimony of François Galgani (IFREMER), Patrick Deixonnne (7e continent), Kim van Arkel (Race for Water Foundation) and actors on plastic chain (Fédération de la Plasturgie et des Composites, Elipso, Suez Environment, Interface, Club Bio-Plastiques and Vacances propres).
I will present some current actions and solutions noticed during the Race for Water Odyssey and new actions adopted by the Race for Water Foundation.
Speaking quickly about the effort of raising awareness (clean-up, event, education...), some solutions and industrial model met.
Please, do not hesitate to share solutions that I could speak about.
I would give the presentation once translated (the conference is in French).
