Stormwater and Wastewater Conference Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia’s municipal wastewater treatment and reuse sector is currently valued at a market size of $4.69 billion. Over the next 20 years, Saudi’s National Water Company plans to implement $23 billion worth of wastewater treatment and reuse-related capital improvement projects. This is already in the works with tenders now open for 9 new wastewater treatment and reuse facilities on a build, own, operate and transfer model.

On the other hand, to combat emerging climate risks and high-magnitude weather events which have impacted the Saudi Arabia’s cities in the recent past, the Kingdom requires upcoming green field projects and the existing highly populated cities to incorporate climate resilient stormwater infrastructure and effective flood risk mitigation strategies.

The  Stormwater and Wastewater Conference Saudi Arabia , taking place from  28-29 May 2024  in  Jeddah Hilton  aims to effectively address challenges and meet project requirements for stormwater and wastewater treatment and reuse facilities as the Kingdom places heavy emphasis on sustainable urban development. The conference delves into innovative technologies and focuses on identifying sustainable water management solutions that can specifically cater to the unique requirements of the Saudi Arabian market by convening water infrastructure and technology providers globally to Jeddah.
