You are invited to a reception and bar-be-que for the 2016 Water Professionals, who are graduate students at UNESCO-IHE in Delft Netherlands at Grassy Waters Preserve on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 5:30 PM. These 43 MSc and PhD students from 29 countries comprise the 2016 class that joins 220 alumni from 48 countries when they complete a three week program that uses the computer models of the South Florida ecosystem as case studies. They take the knowledge and skills they learn back to their home countries to help solve water problems and challenges after graduation from UNESCO-IHE. Also known as the Institute for Water Education, UNESCO-IHE is the largest water university in the world, with over 200 MSc students and over 150 PhD students. The event is free but donations to support the program can be made by going to http://crowdrise.com/the-water-professionals-2016.
