The Water Innovation Townhall: Stories From the Tipping Point.

This session brings together some of the most compelling real-world innovation journeys we’ve tracked through the Water Technology Adoption (WATA) Model — and for the first time, it will be available to everyone.

Three companies will feature prominently:

  • Evove  — a fast-moving materials innovator now entering demonstration-to-commercial scale. Represented by  Chris Wyres .
  • Cerafiltec  — a durability-led ceramic UF system with long-running reference plants and accelerating global uptake, now viewed by procurement teams as a credible, field-proven alternative to polymerics. Represented by  Julius Glöckner .
  • Vortech  — one of the most striking early-adopter stories in biological treatment, now gaining market pull across Europe, North America, and Australia. Represented by  Sean Mulligan .

They have been followed closely by BlueTech over multiple years, and both represent distinct, and remarkably instructive, paths from lighthouse deployments to tipping-point momentum.

This session will be led by Paul O’Callaghan, with guest participation from Prof. Cees Buisman (Wetsus) and Dr. Reinhard Hübner (Skion Water), alongside BlueTech’s Rhys Owen.

Together, they’ll explore the patterns, friction points, and acceleration signals behind three very different innovation trajectories, and what they reveal about the pace of change across the water sector.

Registration is now open to everyone:
