UDG Training Day 2014 – “Designing & Implementing SuDS!”

CIWEM's Urban Drainage Group 's (formerly WaPUG) annual Training Day will build on the successes of previous events. This year, the theme will focus on the Sustainable Urban Drainage ( SuDS ), the day will focus on the planning and designing of SuDS, this will cover both new developments and the retrofitting to improve system performance.
Delegates attending will hear about schemes where SuDS was been implemented and major SuDS schemes where the focusis on improving performance. During the course of the day there will be practical exercises to allow the opportunity to understand some of the challenges that face planners / designers of SuDS schemes.
The training day is developed around the CIWEM competencies and so those attending will benefit from the day contributing towards CIWEM membership.
