Wastewater and Biosolids Treatment and Reuse: Bridging Modeling and Experimental Studies

The Wastewater and Biosolids Treatment and Reuse conference will bring together experts from both the computational and experimental areas involving wastewater and biosolids treatment , to promote dialogue in the area of model validation studies and ultimately to try to bridge and elucidate the complex interrelations among experiments, models, and simulations.
This conference will follow the typical ECI 's conferences' format, consisting of planned morning and late afternoon/early evening sessions with sufficient in-between time to be used for networking and discussions among the participants and for small group-specific activities.
The sessions will be chaired by invited experts, and each chairperson will be asked to facilitate the conversation on the topic presented by other invited speakers. Furthermore, oral presentations will be given by participants who will have submitted timely research abstracts related to the scope of the sessions. Selection of the contributed presentations will be the task of the Chairs of each session. Training sessions will also be organized to demonstrate the capability of commercially available Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Design of Experiments (DOE) software packages when applied to wastewater and biosolids treatment.
