Water in Mining 2012

The Congress will take place in Santiago, Chile from 6 to 8 June 2012 and will give engineers, researchers, consultants and providers the opportunity to discuss the recent innovations and developments in the availability and efficient use of water in the mining industry. In turn, various dimensions of sustainable water management will be analyzed, from extraction, use or recirculation, to the safe disposal of effluents. The discussions will centre on four main aspects: innovative developments for the responsible use of water, water mass characterization and control criteria, management of residual effluents and sustainable water management in arid zones.
