Wetsus Congress 2011

On October 3 and 4, 2011, the annual Wetsus Congress will be held at city theatre De Harmonie in Leeuwarden. The theme for first day this year is: Cooperation in innovation, a global requirement? Plenary speakers will be, amongst others: Judith Merkies, member of European Parliament, Hank Vanderlaan, founder and senior adviser Trojan Technologies Inc., and Eppo Bruins, director Technology Foundation STW. The second day, 8 sessions connected to the Wetsus’ research themes are organized. Topics include, but are not limited to: Structure of water, Safety of non-piped water systems, Value from waste, Renewable energy and Desalination.
