Having graduated with a degree in Agricultural Engineering from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, I am continuously involved in agricultural water management with national and international organizations. For more than three years, my focus has been to enhance agricultural production and productivity as a result of optimal water use and prevention of conveyance losses. In my current role as a Water Management Specialist with the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, I have led the selection and rehabilitation of more than 60 irrigation schemes in east region of Afghanistan.
