About

I have more than seven years of professional diversified development experience in Program/Project Identification, Designing, Implementation Monitoring, Evaluation and Research. I earned two master degrees in Development Studies and Economics with specializations in Monitoring and Evaluation and Statistical Economics and Research. Currently, I am working as M&E officer with Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation Pakistan. This is for Water for Livelihoods Project under SDC-Funding. The four-year initiative until December 2017 is directed to bring reform in water sector development in water scarce and ecologically fragile districts of KPK.

Previously in 2013-14, I worked as Monitoring & Evaluation officer with Holistic Understanding for Justified Research and Action (HUJRA), a local NGO based in Swat. HUJRA through WFP assisted conflict affected communities through WASH facilities, food for work and cash for work in Khyber, Mohmand and Bajawar Agencies of FATA. This work helped the Temporary Displaced Persons (TDPs) to return to their native land due to military operation against terrorists. During 2012, I also worked as Monitoring Evaluation and Research Associate for Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) funded by United Nation Development Program (UNDP) under Strengthening Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Mainstreaming Project. During 2011, I also work as Evaluation field supervisor with World Bank- Japan Social Development Fund (JSDF), to Supervise the Data Collection Process of Thematic Impact Assessment Study for World Bank-JSDF funded Building and Construction Improvement Programme (BACIP) Interventions in Chitral Pakistan.

During my higher education, I worked as real time case studies developer. My previous experience of working as volunteer with Aga Khan Focus humanitarian and local societies helped me to understand real worth of social development for promotion of human welfare. Research, counseling and community service in District Chitral has been my forte. Therefore, I have acquired knowledge via training which include National Evaluation Capacity Development for Country-led M&E Systems, Emerging Practices in Development Evaluations, MEAL in Emergencies - Analysis, Interpretation, and Use, MEAL in Emergencies - Monitoring Methods, Project Planning, M&E and Quality Management, Community Management Skills (CMST), Alternative Disputes Resolution (ADR), Geographic Information System, Monitoring & Evaluation tools, Knowledge Management, Institutional Development and Capacity Building. I have also participated in international conference on Mountain Agro Agriculture and Nutrition (MAAN) and one national conference on Drought Prediction and Mitigation in Pakistan. I find myself proactively working for democracy, good governance and peace for marginalize communities for my area.
