About

I am a civil and environment engineer, holder of a PhD degree in hydrology from Montpellier SupAgro, France, and the faculty of engineering at Saint Joseph University, Lebanon.

My first professional years between 2010 and 2015 as a project engineer at Libanconsult-AGM and Khatib and Alami, allowed me to acquire a thorough knowledge in the water sector. I worked on the feasibility, detailed design, and EIA of several water and wastewater projects, on the design of solid waste landfills. Moreover, I worked on EIA projects, mainly those related to dams construction which included the dam break flood assessment and flood risk analysis. This experience exposed me to the water sector on the national scale whereby I shaped in-depth experience around different water establishments and ministries and their activities across the whole country.

My professional career was a natural catalyzer to proceed with my academic path and pursue my PhD on Mediterranean watersheds, specifically the characterization and hydrological classification of the watersheds based on their physical, climatic and water balance properties, which will help in the study of future water balance evolution under climate change scenarios and the choice of suitable modeling structures to be developed later. The thesis got published in class A scientific journals.

During my years of research, I never left my professional engineering work as I kept working as freelance water resources expert on several hydrological studies for the feasibility and design of stormwater and flooding assessment projects, rivers hydrology, floodplain management.

Kindly find attached my resume for further information about my qualifications.
