About

I got a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with the mark of 110 /110 with honors. The thesis title was: GEOLOGICAL AND HYDROGEOLOGICAL PROBLEMS IN THE DEFINITION OF TUNNEL COURSE: analysis of case studies.

During the first year of the Master in Civil Engineering I won a scholarship from the European Community LLP-ERASMUS, which allowed me to study abroad from 22/09/2011 until 19/06/2012, when I attended the Technical University of Poznan (PL), (Politechnika Poznańska). In these months I have worked with students from all over Europe, creating group projects and maturing a good ability of adapting in multicultural groups.

I got a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with the mark of 98/110. The thesis title was: STATE OF GROUNDWATER POLLUTION IN THE GULF OF ARNEO (Penisula of Salento, Puglia): Historical reconstruction from 1982 to 2011.

At the 13/November/2014 I got a Post-Graduate Degree in Design of Reinforced Concrete Structures at the Polytechnic of Milan organized by the Master School F.lli Pesenti, with the mark of 110 /110 with honors. The course consisted of six months of classes from November to March, and six-month of internship that I attended in “Impresa Pizzarotti & C. SpA”, finished on the 25th September 2014. The Post-Graduate Degree thesis developed during this internship regarded the execution of a pushed underpass, (under a railway line), with the Essen Italian technique. In particular, the thesis title was: DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A PUSH UNDERPASS BELOW THE RAILWAY CROSSING THE CITIES OF MILAN - VERONA – VENICE. The internship objective was to understand the realization phases of the BreBeMi highway, that links the cities of Brescia, Bergamo and Milan. I also followed the activities of Quality Control and I spent days with the senior engineers during the tests on bridges, piles and road pavements (LWD, plate test, etc…). During the internship I also learned to use GENESIS, an important tool for the Project Management activities.

Now I’m working with the company Salini Impregilo S.p.A. Since May 2015 I work for the Neckartal Dam Project . I have the responsibility to plan all activities from the start of the excavations at the end of the dam (earthmoving activities, RCC-Roller Compacted Concrete activities, Reinforced Concrete activities ecc.). I also have a responsibility to manage and organize the site (materials order and supply, production reports, movement of resources and transport, Subcontractor management, achievement of production targets, planning, production problems analysis and resolution). I was working with the SISGEO technicians during the installation of the structural monitoring systems used in the Neckartal Dam Project (LBSG - Long Base Strain Gauges, Crackmeters and Jointmeters, Vibrating Wire Deformation Meters, Controllers, Data logger, Strain Gauges and Thermometers).
