Aram Yeretzian
About
Aram is currently an assistant professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of AUB with a joint position for climate responsive buildings. The courses he teaches and the research he conducts address the environmental dimensions of buildings and cities.
Following work experience in France from 1990 till 1998, he co-founded Prime Design Architects s.a.r.l. in Beirut, and holds the position of partner / design principal.
Prime Design is a professional practice that focuses on sustainable and environmental architectural design and masterplanning.
At the Order of Engineers and Architects in Beirut, Aram is a member of the Energy and Sustainability Committee.
Aram is currently a member of the “Standards for Green Buildings in Lebanon” committee within the Ministry of Public Works in Lebanon.
As a founding of the Lebanon Green Building Council, he served as President from 2012 to 2014.
Finally, Aram lectures in conferences that address sustainability issues, serves as a jury member in several Universities, and represents the Ministry of Environment in issues related to the environmental aspects of buildings.
