Bernie Omodei, Owner at Measured Irrigation
About
I have a PhD in mathematics and worked for 7 years as a lecturer at the University Sydney. I resigned from the University to work for Community Aid Abroad (now Oxfam). After 15 years at Community Aid Abroad I worked at Trees For Life in South Australia for a further 14 years. For the past 10 years I have pursuing a career as an inventor. My latest and most important invention is Measured Irrigation, a new scheduling paradigm for drip irrigation that can reduce water consumption by up to 50% without compromising the yield. Measured Irrigation is ideally suited to smallholders in developing countries.
