About

I am an Environmental Engineer with almost 2 years of working experience at Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. I had played a role as an executive engineer to manage daily operations of wastewater treatment plant, coolant treatment plant, monitoring shop-floor environment of a manufacturing plant which served manpower of more than 6000. I also have the knowledge and understanding of various aspects related to design, operation and maintenance of water, wastewater and coolant treatment plant systems.

I was an active part of the team who worked towards improvement of  WWTP's treating capacity and quality of treated water, saving 80-100KL of raw water requirement for secondary uses. I am a certified internal auditor by DNV on Integrated Safety, Health and Environment Management System as per OHSAS 18001:2007 & ISO 14001:2004 standard. I have successfully implemented more than 20 Kaizens to improve shop-floor working environment.

Given my experience in this area and having grown an intense desire to gain knowledge and understanding on various aspects of green engineering and related development, the concept of zero-waste, zero-liquid discharge practices, sustainable water management, its design and engineering, all with an idea of creating a better living environment for the present and future generations to come fascinates me to further develop my career in this stream. My objective in life is to keep doing things I love and to be the best at it while doing it. I would like to develop my career in the same way, serving community and help it to preserve its natural environment as it grows, thus ensuring sustainable development. I have successfully completed my Master’s in Environmental Engineering at National University of Singapore, and have also worked for 6 months as an EHS intern at Jebsen and Jessen (SEA) Pte. Ltd., currently seeking new opportunities to share my knowledge and develop my career by joining a firm with similar thinking and culture.
