Brittany Ajroud, Learning Specialist at Environmental Incentives, LLC
About
Brittany is a Learning Specialist at Environmental Incentives, where she currently supports USAID Measuring Impact and Sustainable Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Systems initiatives. In her previous role at Conservation International, Brittany led the development of M&E systems and data collection methods for integrated projects for health and biodiversity conservation. She contributed to the design of an M&E framework to capture the benefits of linking freshwater conservation with WASH activities that is now being applied to USAID-funded projects in South Africa and Uganda. Brittany’s passion lies in developing effective collaborative processes to balance environmental protection with the diverse needs of communities. She has applied this skill set in a range of contexts—from supporting a watershed conservancy in California to connect with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, to engaging youth and educators in Israel, Jordan, and Palestine to promote cross-border water cooperation. Brittany holds a Master of International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, where she focused on freshwater conservation and environmental conflict management.
