About

I graduated in 1982 as an agronomist with a specialty in soil from the Universidad Automa Chaingo, Estado de México. Master's Degree in Agricultural Sciences in 1988 from the Postgraduate School, Montecillos, Estado de México. I have practiced for more than 30 years in the area of use and management of water and soil in the valley of May to southern Sonora State, Mexico. Specifically, I have worked with irrigation programs, irrigation water quality, saline soils and fertility. In rain agriculture I have worked with mechanical harvesting techniques. The crops in which I have worked are wheat, potatoes, safflower, beans, chickpeas, sunflower, plantago, citrus and mango. I am currently wanting to venture into technological innovations for water irrigation and fertilizers by means of nanotechnology and hydrogels.
