Carlos Linares is an international development and environment specialist with over 30 years of experience. He has worked for urban development and environmental planning and management initiatives sponsored by The World Bank, the US Agency for International Development, the United Nations Development Programme, the Interamerican Development Bank, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, private consulting firms, and major international non-profit organizations. His experience as a practitioner includes 22 countries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and the Caribbean. Mr. Linares holds a Master’s Degree of Environmental Management from Yale University; a Bachelor’s of Science in Architecture from the University of Notre Dame; and is a graduate of MIT’s Special Program for Urban and Regional Studies of Developing Areas.
