I am PhD Geotechnical Engineer, Chartered Civil Engineer, MSc and MEng in Geotechnical Engineering.I have developed my career in the geotechnical world, having specialized in fields such as: numerical modelling, constitutive models, hydraulic and hydroelectric projects and singular projects.
From 2006 to 2011 I was involved in several geotechnical research projects, regarding: Numerical modelling in geotechnics, Liquefied gas tanks, non-linear behaviour of particle soils (coarse media and gravels), ground improvement, deep foundations and rock mechanics (slopes and pile foundations). During this period I also worked as a freelance geotechnical engineer for companies such as: EPTISA, ENAGAS, FERROVIAL and RODIO.
In 2012 I began a career in a spanish hydraulic consultancy firm (INCISA), developing several hydraulic and hydroelectric projects in: Phillippines, Panamá, Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Perú.
Design, field and research experience has been expressed by publishing in international journals for the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) mainly but also for others such as: CRC Press, Balkema, Emerald and CEDEX.
