All types of services can be traded on this platform, whether targeted at water quality, water availability or flood mitigation for example. The system uses watershed data analytics to identify how upstream services can best meet downstream targets. Innovative business models to suit all different types of economies and watershed profiles are also being developed to ensure proper governance of trading is in place and to promote the economies of watersheds.
