Derrick Ssewanyana, PhD student at Kenya Medical Research Institute
About
A Public Health enthusiast currently pursuing a PhD in Adolescent Health studies.
I have previously worked in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene sector in Uganda and had the opportunity of working in Ecological Sanitation, school WASH and community water supply and access projects.
Although my current works focus on health risk behavior of adolescents, WASH issues stay at heart, and a number of WASH related issues such as menstrual hygiene, food hygiene, personal hygiene etc are cross cutting themes in my current work
