About

Ms Didimalang Masoabi is a Water Resources specialist with over 18 years’ experience in the water and environmental field. Her core skills are in the water and environmental legislation, including Integrated Water and Waste Management Plans (IWWMP), Rehabilitation Strategy and Implementation Plans (RSIP), Water Conservation and Water Demand Management Plans (WC&WDM), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Management Programme Reports (EMPR) compliance, technical reviews of specialist reports for inclusion into projects and development of infrastructure maintenance plans.

 

My core expertise also lies in project management and coordination of specialist studies for input into projects, project planning and executions, project budgeting, project support, management of project resources (including human resources), compilation and presentation of project status for reporting to clients and management, progress and close out reports, assess project challenges and develop mitigation measures, stakeholder consultation and engagement and contractors’ management. She has also gained experience in microbiological laboratory doing research on surface water and later on drinking water quality.

 

I has undertaken projects for mines and other industries where I liaised with the authorities on behalf of the clients on issues related to water resources management and compliance. I acquired extensive experience in stakeholder engagement when undertaking projects for Department of Water and Sanitation for their Water Allocation Reform and Institutional Reform programs in Northern Cape and Mpumalanga regions.
