About

Mr. Wolowich has 35 years of experience in managing many large and complex engineering and environmental projects for power utilities, oil & gas companies, government organisations and private industries. He has successfully managed large project teams of engineers and related professional disciplines across multiple offices, while applying his strong leadership, project management and technical expertise. Past projects include hydrotechnical investigations and hydraulic designs for hydropower developments and flood control, major groundwater resource developments, generating station environmental assessment and permitting, landfill facilities permitting and design, as well as contaminated site remediation. He has particular expertise in geomorphology; hydrotechnical investigations and hydraulic designs; and hydrogeology. He is well-versed in environmental assessments; environmental permitting; environmental site assessments; and climate change issues . In addition to a Master's degree in Civil Engineering majoring in Water Resources, he has completed additional post-graduate courses in Hydrogeology. He has also completed Executive Leadership courses at Schulich School of Business. Mr. Wolowich has provided expert testimony at public hearings. He has given lectures at the University of Manitoba faculties of Engineering and Law. Mr. Wolowich has authored a number of papers on geomorphology, sediment transport, water supply and groundwater exploration, environmental assessments, and site remediation technologies. He has managed Quality Management Systems, and Health and Safety Programs. Mr. Wolowich is well trained in Quality Management and has completed courses in ISO 9000, as well as ISO 14000 Environmental Management Systems. He is also a certified National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO), has taken numerous Health and Safety courses, and has several years of experience in auditing Health and Safety programs. He has served on many Boards.
