Mr. Elias R. AbuMohor : Industrial Engineer, Graduated from the faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Autonomous National University of Honduras; Joined the Applied Research Institute – Jerusalem (ARIJ) since October 2004 as a research assistant in the Water & Environment Research Department. Experienced in the field of wastewater treatment technologies trained by several national and international organizations as Birzeit University, Palestinian Water Authority (PWA), BioClean-Germany and the Spanish Center of new water technologies (CENTA) . Worked in both theatrical and practical engineering aspects; worked for engineering design firms as “Petra Mimar Engineering Company”, worked in the Water and Environment Research Unit (WERU) at the Applied Research Institute – Jerusalem (ARIJ), designing, testing and developing of several wastewater treatment and reuse prototypes, installed over 220 wastewater and gray water treatment systems promoting water reclamation in the West Bank –Palestine. Author for several published papers in what regards wastewater treatment technologies; participate in several environmental publications as the case of the Status of the Environment in Palestine 2007 and in a more recent version 2010. Experienced as well in the designing, construction and installation of several Aquaponic Systems that promotes rural communities sustainability. Currently developing and installing of three wastewater treatment prototypes as part of ACAD project activities in collaboration of the French Water agency (Aau Adour Garonne) and the Palestinian Water Authority (PWA).
