Erwin Hasselbrinck, Sustainable Project Director at Batis Sustainable Research Center
Summary
Researcher, designer and producer on cultural, environment, and social projects for sustainable development. I consider myself as a human being that understands the importance of the interrelationship on biodiversity and cultural diversity for a sustainable ecosystem. When leading projects, I’ve been able to learn about every process for designing a successful system to work with communities and achieve goals. I’ve been researching and implementing projects in topics that goes from climate change, agroecology, urban farming, characterization of flora and fauna; to consumerism and social research on energy consumption for a sustainable development, for over 2 years. I had the opportunity to participate for 3 years as a researcher and project designer in cultural (music, history, festivals, poetry) and environmental heritage recognition from the Colombian Caribbean Region. Because of my reliable communication and organizational skills, I’ve been able to lead teams into achieving goals as implementing more than 5 projects in vulnerable communities. Just as” Rebolo Leyenda Viva”, Project that was financed by the United Nations Development Programs (UNDP)
