Etiosa Uyigue is the Executive Director of the Community Research and Development Centre (CREDC). He has been pioneering the promotion of renewable energy and energy efficiency in Nigeria and under his leadership the CREDC has embarked on programmes and projects to integrate renewable energy and energy efficiency into Nigeria policy framework. He has over Ten (10) years experience in conducting research and documentation. He has been involved in the drafting of several climate change and energy related policy documents. He is very experienced in conceptualizing and supervising environmental research and development projects. He has supervised the implementation of several community based photovoltaic project. Mr. Uyigue has written several articles and research papers on energy efficiency and renewable energy. He possesses high level of expertise in renewable energy and energy efficiency and was one of the experts that developed the project document for a UNDP-GEF Energy Efficiency project in Nigeria. He has served as a member of the Clean Energy Bill Committee inaugurated by the Energy Commission of Nigeria. He is a Friend and a member of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP). He is also the Coordinator of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Network (REEEN), Nigeria.
