About

PhD student with focus in flow and reactions in stream-riparian zone systems. Early stage research part of the ENIGMA-ITN project, Innovative Training Network funded by the European Commission.

BSc in Geology and MSc in Water Science and Engineering with specialization in Groundwater and Global Change - Impacts and Adaptations. Participation in hydrogeology contaminant projects, geological mapping, logging and sample descriptions, well drilling, groundwater modeling, hydrogeological site characterization, as well as aquifer monitoring and assessment.
Experience with database in GIS environment to apply geo-information tools, and modelling softwares. The bachelor's research involved a numerical simulation of groundwater’s transient flux of a small basin.

MSc degree obtained under the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Programme in "Groundwater and Global Change - Impacts and Adaptation", acronym GroundwatCH. The MSc thesis focused in a hydrochemical assessment of water types and salinization mechanisms in the coastal aquifer of Maputo-MZ.

Main interests in Groundwater Modelling, Hydrochemistry, Geophysics, Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR), saline intrusion, GIS, IWRM, and others water related projects.

Open to opportunities to participate in national and international projects.
