About
My company, AquaMem Scientific Consultants, offers expert consulting services in four primary areas, Including:
1. Computational chemistry and molecular modeling of polymers and other materials
2. Reaction simulations using hybrid quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics (QM/MM) methods
3. In silico drug discovery and design services with a focus on antimicrobial lead compound identification
4. Biofilm science and biofouling control, especially related to membrane systems (e.g., reverse osmosis)
I also offer on-site or remote-location immersive workshops and seminars related to biofilms, membrane processes for desalination and water reuse applications, water treatment, and molecular simulations.
I am currently an Adjunct Professor at the Institute for Sustainability and Innovation (ISI) at Victoria University in Melbourne Australia. From 2003 to 2012, I was a Consulting Professor in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Stanford University. From 2012 through 2014 I was Visiting Scientist in the Water Desalination and Reuse Center (WDRC) at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in Saudi Arabia.
In 2003 I formed AquaMem Scientific Consultants and since that time have assisted clients in academia, government and industry with their R&D needs.
