About

My career has been varied. Initially training as an electrical engineer for the MOD, but moving into the water industry, initially as a temporary measure.
The first drainage company I worked for was a family business comprising of just the three of us. A lot of hard work and effort turned this small affair into something very promising. We carried out the full range of drainage services and I was primarily involved in CCTV survey work for local water authorities, local authorities, FM companies, Housing Associations and Civil Engineering, amongst many others. By the time we sold the company we employed around 100 operatives, turning over c. £4 million.
My interest in IT and experience in CCTV investigation lead to the development of a software application that enables CCTV reporting to the standard (BS 13508), commonly known as MSCC5.
This venture is doing well, the application is simple to use and competitively priced. We also provide an excellent customer support service, which is key to any business success.
I have a vision for an even better, more efficient method of collecting drainage asset data and to this end I am studying for a degree in Building Surveying.
