Jacques Pretorius, Director Africa
About
The AquaTrip is a safety trip switch that can be fixed to a property’s incoming mains water pipe to monitor the flow of water.
It automatically shuts off the water supply in the event of a leak, burst pipe, running toilet or faulty plumbing fitting to prevent waste and damage.
Suitable for almost any building, from a single residence to a multi-storey office block, the AquaTrip has no impact on the normal flow of water and can tell the difference between standard water use and a leak or plumbing failure.
Requiring only a 9 Volt battery for operation, and economically priced, the AquaTrip is available in a scalable range of products, from a single button leak detection system right through to a fully integrated Water Management system.
The product’s water-saving potential for private residences, businesses, Governments and water utilities is enormous.
“To be acknowledged as having invented and commercialised a product which positively contributes to conservation of the world’s water resources through a long term, low cost, low maintenance device is an achievement we are very proud of. AquaTrip has great potential to eliminate the billions of litres of water lost to unknown leaks, plumbing failures and vandalism across private, commercial and public water usage sectors”, says Mr Pretorius.
AquaTrip is developed as a simple, affordable and readily installed fitting that can eliminate leaks to prevent waste and damage. This product is low maintenance, has a wide application, has possible use in consumption control and potential to be utilised world-wide.
