Jo Burgess
About
My interests are focussed on research, development, and deployment in the area of sustainability, especially that of water and energy efficiency. I adopt a strong industrial applications approach, aiming to conduct research and development which fills the gap between classic ‘blue-sky’ academic research and the short term, troubleshooting approach taken by many corporate research and development divisions. My projects have almost all been carried out for and in partnership with an academic and an industrial partner and wherever developments ought to shape policy, with the relevant regulator as well.Industry experience
