Jose Juan Caballero

I currently serve as the Knowledge Center Manager for the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), I supervise a team of 10 employees and coordinate all office functions. 
I have a very solid experience in the field of Information Science, with strong skills in project management related to libraries administration; recovery of historical memory; old materials curation and digitization; creation of the institutional museum; ILMS migration (Genie to Koha); and multimedia materials archival and implementation of interoperability standards and Open Access/Open Data policies relying on the use of state-of-the-art digital repositories (DSpace and Dataverse). 

I'm graduated from the Escuela Nacional de Biblioteconomía y Archivonomía (ENBA) as B.Sc. in Librarinaship, then I studied  "Producción Electrónica de Documentos y de Bases de Datos Bibliograficas" en FAO/CATIE, Turrialba Costa Rica.
