Kevin is skilled in strategic socio-environmental planning, conducting water impact assessments, developing collaborative water risk management solutions and water policy, strengthening adaptive capacity, coordinating projects, research, leading teams and building strong relationships, setting priorities and following through with results. His academic research interests were on the root-cause issues of the aboriginal water security issues.

Kevin has 20 years’ experience in water management with the Government of Canada, namely in water use regulatory inspection and enforcement, environmental assessment, drinking water systems, source water protection and aboriginal water-operator capacity building. In addition, he has 3 years of international work experience in 6 countries, coordinating both emergency humanitarian intervention in water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) aid for people at risk and experience in environmental protection on a NATO ISAF military base. (India, Kenya, Indonesia, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Greece). He also has professional development training in: climate change decision-making, sustainability leadership, water conflict diplomacy, bio-sand filters and sanitation governance.

Beyond his multi-discipline skills, unique education and international life experiences, he possess: substantial depth, proven leadership, motivational drive, solid integrity, compassion, critical analysis, Indigenous cultural awareness and respect, and a desire to empower others through positive relationships.
