Kew-Ho Lee
About
Dr. Kew-Ho Lee is a Fellow and former President of Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology and Professor at University of Science and Technology in the Republic of Korea. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical and Materials Engineering in 1984 from the University of Iowa. He started his research career at Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology since 1977. His research interest lies in membrane preparation and application in membrane reactor, gas separation, pervaporation and water treatment. He has published in total about 206 research papers and holds 102 national or international patents.
He served as President of the Membrane Society of Korea, an Editor in Chief of Membrane Journal, and is currently a Bureau Member of International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). He received Korean National Medal of Science and Technology in 2013 and Commander of the Order of the Star of Solidarity of Italian Republic in 2008.
