Larry M Deschaine PhD PE, Optimization SME at HydroGeoLogic Inc.
About
Dr. Larry M. Deschaine, PE, is a Complex Adaptive Systems and Optimization expert with 30+ years industrial experience. A curious life-long learner, he began his formal academic career at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1980 and now has four degrees in three fields (engineering, science and theology). He has produced over 100 publications, achieved a US Vice-Presidential Hammer Award from 2007 Nobel Laureate Albert A. Gore Jr. for business process optimization, set five national records in sports, and is approaching ordination as a Catholic Permanent Deacon (2017). PhD research produced a self-adaptive universal modeling algorithm which formally integrates human expertise, real world observations and physics, engineering and social models and automatically writes a descriptive equation of the system for use in "what-if" scenario planning and systematic optimization. See for example the groundwater application tool for optimal remedial design (over 10,000 downloads). http://environmentalsystemsresearch.springeropen.com/articles/10.1186/2193-2697-2-6Information
