Summary
I retired in 2012 after 37 years as USDA scientist and research leader in field of invasive aquatic plant biology and management. I have experience in aquatic and marine invasive species and have directed research, outreach and education programs in these areas for of 35 years. Current consultancies include projects at Lake Tahoe, Sacramento San Joaquin Delta, Australia. I've also a board Trustee for a Explorit Science Center in Davis, CA and have been President of the Board as well as volunteer Executive director (2014-2016). I have served on a range of scientific review panels and am currently on the Editorial Board of Aquatic Botany.
