About
My research encompasses urban resilience, governance and planning around water and climate-related issues.
With Water & Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP), I was part of the consultancy branch advising governments, service providers, NGOs and businesses to deliver WASH agendas. I have also worked as a research consultant for the International Institute for Environment (IIED) on resilience and resource efficiency at city level, and on urban climate governance in West Africa.
I am currently pursuing a PhD on green infrastructure in cities, on planning challenges around water management from ecological and social perspectives. I aim to focus on Brazilian cities.
My country work experience includes Peru, Brazil, India, Bangladesh, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Ghana, Senegal, Burkina Faso, and Vietnam.
