Louis V. Storino is a Managing Civil Engineer with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD). Being in the Engineering Department, Collection Facilities/ Tunnel and Reservoir Plan (TARP) Section, Storino supervises a staff of five engineers, conducts engineering studies and analysis He is the Project Manager for the Thornton Reservoir, Upper Des Plaines Pump Station Rehabilitation, Deammonification in Centrate at the Egan WRP, 39th Street Conduit Rehabilitation and Energy Feasibility Study at the Egan and Hanover Park WRPs. He has been with MWRD since 1998 and has held numerous positions in both the Maintenance Operations Department and the Engineering Department.
Storino holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a M.S. in Environmental Engineering, both from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a MBA in Finance from DePaul University. He is also a Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Illinois, a member of the Water Environment Federation, and the Treasurer of the Illinois Water Environment Association.
