Summary
I am an Anthropologist by educfation. I have been working as an international development consultant in Asia and Pacific countiries for over 30 years. With an initial career in applied social reserach and teaching in Universities, I moved to free lancing in the international developemnt sector. I have worked in senior leadership, management and advisory positions for programs funded by bilateral and multilateral agencies, donors and national governments. With an inter-disciplinary approach I bring demonstrated expereince in partnership development, working in complex multi-stakeholder environmet to design and implement investment operarations and to support country teams. My core competencies include program design/development and management to support country programs and teams on policy, institutional capacity building to delivery basic services, local infastructure, manage natural resources, improve governance and accountability. The key sectors I have served include WASH, Local Development/infrastructure, Natural Resources Management/Forestry, Micro-finance, labour market programs, governance, Training and Capacity Building.
