Marcus Du Pree Thomas is a Bio-Chemical Engineer with 25 Years’ experience in the Water, Wastewater and Waste Industries developing, designing, delivering, operating and optimising all aspects of environmental treatment technologies. Marcus currently coordinates all research, innovation and technology projects for Viridor and South West Water interfacing with a number of key Academic institution, SME’s and national and international funding organisations. He has a primary interest in the development of new technologies, supporting SME pilot plant and commercial demonstrator trials by combining his extensive experiences in project delivery and as a HAZOP and SIL qualified Chair to integrate demonstration facilities into existing infrastructure and operations. He has a particular interest in technologies increasing the value of recycled and recovered resources and a longstanding interest in bio-technologies, their optimisation and assessing their future strategic and commercial potential.Information
