Biologist at the Iztacala FES, UNAM, with a Master's degree in Environmental Resources in the United Kingdom and a PhD in Biotic Resources from the Autonomous University of Querétaro. Participant of the LEAD Program of Advanced Studies in Environment and Development of the Colegio de México. With experience in Environmental Impact Assessment in hydroelectric projects since 1983. He has participated in the topics of Risk and Environmental Assessment, Hydrobiology, Water Quality, Diffuse Pollution and Environmental Flows in the IMTA Mexican Institute of Water Technology since 1995. She is Professor of the subjects of EIA and ERA of the Master Program for Environmental Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering UNAM since 1995. Visiting Professor of the Universities of Morelos, Chiapas, Las Americas, La Salle, Mayor of San Andrés in Bolivia and Polytechnics of Morelos and Tula Tepeji It has a production of 30 technical reports, 45 articles for congresses , 6 Master thesis and 9 for refereed journals. Member of the Technical Advisory Board of the Mexican Association of Environmental Impact, member of the International Association of Environmental Impact (IAIA) and the International Advisory Council of Hydro Europe since 2006 . He was part of the Advisory Committee of BaNamericas Mexico Energy Summit 2013 and committees for the development of standards, analysis of projects and proposals submitted to Conacyt.
