Mark Rivers is a Research Professor, Senior Research Scientist and Project Manager with approximately 30 years experience in natural resource management, catchment hydrology and sustainable development projects in the academic, public and private business sectors. He has science qualifications in the areas of both geophysics and environmental management and a proven track record of successfully working with a variety of industry partners to secure private financial support for public-good sustainability projects. Mark has a successful, outcome-focussed approach to work and an ability to work within and to lead teams resulting in receipt of a number of awards for excellence in research and environmental management including the WA Environment Award for Water Conservation and Management for his work on a project developing sustainable irrigation systems.
