Mark Skewes, Research Scientist - Irrigation at South Australian Research and Development Institute
About
Having grown up on the land, I have a keen interest in primary production, and its interactions with the environment in which it is carried out, and the resources it utilises. My work in the irrigated horticulture industry focusses on the long term sustainability of irrigated production in the Murray Darling Basin, and in turn on the sustainability of the communities which rely upon this industry.
I am excited when I can use my scientific and communication skills to assist in innovative resource management and development.
