About

Md Faruque Biswas is an environmental development professional. He received formal education in Forestry and Environmental Science at undergraduate and postgraduate levels respectively. He has knowledge and management experience on different areas of Forestry (including Carbon Stock Assessment), Natural Resources, Climate Change, Environment and Development. Moreover, he has performed management responsibilities in development-, educational-, and Industrial/commercial institutions in organizing, coordinating, developing, guiding and supervising multidisciplinary professional/technical personnel in team for smooth functioning of the project/ program/ institution.

 

Md Biswas has experience with different local-, national-, multi-national- and international development organizations and projects (including ADB/KfW/IFAD funded Climate Resilient Infrastructure Improvement/Climate Change Adaptation, WB funded Enhancement and Strengthening of Power Network of Eastern Region of Bangladesh, USAID funded Co-management of Natural Resources, Agriculture & Natural Resources Sector of CARE, Natural Resources Development of SDC and Social Forestry of WFP/ IIRD), Commercial/Industrial and Educational Institutions. He has provided management and consultancy services on different management issues of Forestry, Natural Resources, Climate Change, Environment and Development.
